Friends of KennetWho are the Friends of Kennet? A group of like-minded people who want to share in and support the Kennet Project. How do they help? By volunteering to man Kennet at events, moving Kennet to/from events, helping with the maintenance and support with donations. What skills are required? None, apart from enthusiasm to join a friendly bunch who share their knowledge and experiences. However skills in all aspects of maintenance, administration, finance and public relations are always well received. How do they keep in touch? By a Newsletter and email communications How have they supported the project to date? Directly donated £2,000 into a ring-fenced fund and 1,260 man hours towards Kennet’s upkeep.
